Orchid: First Lady Caroline Harrison (1832-1892) was a lover of art and nature. Young Benjamin Harrison was drawn to her “dancing brown eyes,” which complemented her lighthearted humor and sparkling personality. Caroline used these eyes skillfully as a painter. She worked with oils, watercolors, and china, creating floral patterns. Orchids were especially popular in her designs. This new tea captures the youthful, artist spirit of Caroline Harrison as it honors the Victorian custom of sharing a cup of tea.
